Case Studies
Here are a further selection of Case Studies from our portfoloio of work.
Quality Assurance

Commissioned by Coventry Solihull and Warwickshire County Sports Partnership, JBSC provided a programme of Quality Assurance for the Sportivate funded programmes across the region, with emphasis placed upon Safe Guarding, front line delivery and sustainable provision. The work identified those organisations demonstrating best practice and providing positive impact.

The piece of work also required JBSC to challenge and support those providers who failed to meet the required funding expectations or requested support.
Interventions and support followed for the organisations who required and requested professional support. This ensured organisations achieved funding outcomes, but more importantly provided their participants with a good quality sporting experience.
Change Management

Initially recruited by the CEO of Tottenham Hotspur Foundation to lead a quality assurance review, this piece of work evolved into leading strategic change.
Starting as a three month part time arrangement, the work became a two year near full time working arrangement in a transition period for the Club’s official Charity and the Global Coaching department.

JBSC worked closely with the Foundation's CEO and wider Club departments to apply change to a full time, part time and casual workforce in excess of 100 people.

The new structures, systems and processes ensured the ability to maintain and attract new funding within a culture of high quality provision.
Workforce Development and Mentoring

Identified by the EFL Trust to work with the Board of Burton Albion FC, JBSC led on the establishment of a brand new Charitable Trust and development support at the Football Club, following their promotion from the National League.

Our involvement included leading on the recruitment process for the initial Head of Community.

Fleur Robinson, Commercial Director Burton Albion FC & Trustee Burton Albion Community Trust says:

“Jamie’s knowledge and ability to adapt and apply his experiences from working in the professional game was really valuable to us as a Board. The initial piece of work, advising and guiding the Board, recruiting our first Head of Community helped us shape the foundations to the future success that followed. He is someone we very much enjoyed working with, trusted and remains good friends to us at Burton Albion FC.
